![]() ![]() North Carolina SchoolsAll secondary schools in North Carolina are eligible to nominate students to compete for the Morehead-Cain. In addition, students at North Carolina schools may apply without being nominated by their school committees. American Secondary SchoolsSecondary schools outside North Carolina are eligible only by invitation from the Morehead-Cain Foundation to nominate for the Morehead-Cain. Interested school officials may request eligibility requirements by e-mailing moreheadcain@unc.edu. Eligible schools each nominate one student per year. (Please note: our school selection process is closed for the 2008-2009 selection year.) British Public SchoolsThe British Morehead-Cain Scholarship Committee, established by British Morehead Alumni, oversees the selection process in Great Britain. Canadian SchoolsThe Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation distributes brochures and nomination forms for the Canadian Morehead-Cain Program. Every graduating student in every high school and cégep in Canada is eligible to compete for the Morehead-Cain. For more information, please visit www.canadianmoreheadcain.org.
